About Impala Communication

Impala Communication is not just a company; it’s a passion project born from our deep-rooted desire to rewrite the narrative of Ethiopia and Africa. As a husband and wife team, Meron and Terusew, we embarked on this journey with the vision of showcasing the beauty, resilience, and complexity of our continent and its people. We wanted our daughters to grow up knowing and cherishing their identity and culture, which is why we returned to Ethiopia in 2011 to establish Impala Communication. Since then, our mission has been clear: to humanize the stories we tell and inspire others to do the same. While we’ve had the privilege of working on numerous social impact projects, tackling challenging topics with dignity and empathy has always been our priority. We believe that every story, regardless of its challenges or disparities, deserves to be told with care and respect.


